Kallirroi Georgila is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California (USC) Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT) and USC’s Computer Science Department. Her research interests include all aspects of spoken language processing with a focus on statistical dialogue management (reinforcement learning of dialogue policies), expressive conversational speech synthesis, and speech recognition. She has served on the organizing, senior, and program committees of many conferences and workshops, including being General Co-Chair for SIGdial 2014, Mentoring Chair for SIGdial 2012 and 2013, Associate Chair for ICMI 2013, Area Chair for EACL 2012, and Program Co-Chair for SemDial 2011. She is currently the Vice President of SIGdial (the Special Interest Group on Discourse and Dialogue).
