Dr Milica Gašić holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Belgrade and MPhil in Computer Speech, Text and Internet Technology and PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. The topic of her PhD was Statistical Dialogue Modelling for which she received an EPSRC Phd Plus award. Milica’s research interests lie in various aspects of spoken dialogue systems and machine learning for natural language processing. Her publications include around 50 journal articles and peer reviewed conference papers for which she has received a number of best paper awards. She is an elected committee member of IEEE Speech and Language Technical Committee and an appointed board member of Sigdial.
